Hey guys. I've encountered a problem a problem with my computer, and my friend reffered me to this website, so I was hoping one of you guys can help me =] One day, about a week ago, I turned on my computer. And when I started to surf the web, pop-ups started to pop-up. Now I now this is normal, but I didnt get a lot of pop-ups before this. I'd get the occasional couple pop-ups, but this time, whenever I enter a website or a part of a website, I get 2 or 3. I use Mozilla Firefox, but I get pop-ups from both Mozilla and Internet. Also, my computer has been running extremely slow. My games have been opening very slowly. On my Windows Security Center, it says my "Automatic Updates" is turned off. I dont know if that has anything to do with this. I've tried to run Spyware Doctor and AVG on it, and it cleared some viruses, but it still keeps on happening. I also tried to put an add-on called "AddBlock Plus" to my Mozilla Firefox, but it does not really help. Is this a virus?? I'm really scared, and don't know what to do. If you guys can help, I'd be extremely grateful. Hi. I strongly suggest going to our Virus and Malware removal forum and read the 8 Steps sticky. Then do each and every step as directed. Don't skip any of the steps. Then when you have completed the steps post there with every log they require. Good luck.
