I have been getting this CMOS checksum error on my bios post screen. It's been going on for a couple months now,the only way that i can boot up is by popping out the battery.
I have an Asus M3N78 PRO MB. Might be my last Asus MB as this was purchased almost 2 years ago and it's already shot.
Im curious as to what are some of the most common checksum error problems and how they are corrected? Im thinking of just scrapping this MB and buying a new one,but I want to know whats wrong with this one.
I get no beeps on start up. I even removed both sticks of RAM and booted up and didn't get any beeps there either.
