I have a Segate 40 GB Momentus ATA hard drive. The drive is connected to the USB port, but the computer does not recognise the drive. Please send your suggestions if anyone experienced the same problem.

yellow means they(drivers) are not loaded right
get the manual for MB look to manif. website for usb drivers for same
you may need to upgrade your bios
the drive itself does not need drivers
if you opened the case it's just a ide or sata drive with adapter
if you have other usb device does it work in that port??
