    Right here goes...
    When using my pc a box appears from the bottom right (beside the clock) and tells me that windows security centre has found evidence of spy/malware, and advises me to click on the link.

    this takes me to http://antispywarebox.com/ . also titansheild.com.

    when i go into my task manager its all locked (like faded into the background)so i cant stop anything. also does the same with regedit.exe

    is my pc wwwwwweeeeeeellllll past its sell by date?

    any help very much appreciated

    oops...its also hijacked my somepage (about:blank)

    You have got a Spyware problem. Read the stickies and follow the instructions and you should be fine. If you have difficulty following the instructions then ask.

    Go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.Post an HJT.

    You can remove your poll as well.Some moderators can be sensitive about such things.Regards etc.
