Possible to install two different sound cards that work at the same time?

I was wondering if I can get both of my sound cards to work at once on WindowsXP. My soundcards are the Realtek AC'97 and the Soundblaster PCI128 cards. Please let me know. Thanks.

Yes, it is possible. But you'll need software which can support two sounds cards for whatever reason.

For example, Windows allows you to select your sound device in a drop down menu. I'm unsure if you could get sound ouput from both of them at the same time through Windows though. But if an application supports such a thing, it should work OK.
