    The restriction is by design, so we let guest readers post comments but we don't open the floodgates to spammers.

    Hi,

    Right, that is understandable, but it should not be breaking the functionality.

    What should happening, is if a Guest tries to post anything that has "http" or" www." then the post should error out, explaining to guests that they are not allowed to post links.

    Plus it gives you another opportunity to explain to the user the benefits of taking the time to register.
