Power Macintosh G3, processor needed

  1. Hey,

so at my work I just found under a pile of junk a Power Macintosh G3 in fairly nice condition. The only problem is, it's missing its processor. I was wondering how much one might run for (I did look online for one but can't find one that would work for it) and on top of that, how much do you think it would be worth if it were running. (I have a running deal with my boss that if I sell old crap I can keep half of what ever I sell it for) I know they are in no way shape or form really usable, but then again fanboys buy this kinda stuff. Anyways, any info on this would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

p.s. there was just the case of one of these (the minitower edition which is the same I found) going for 400$ online.

Is it a Blue&White one or a Beige? It makes a big difference. Beige ones are pretty worthless.

Here is a link of CPU upgrades. http://lowendmac.com/ppc/power-mac-g3-upgrade-guide.html These aren't the original processors for them, they are 3rd party ones, but they work. Some places still sell them, or you could check ebay.
