Power supply for i5-3450 and HD 6870

Considering I have a core i5 3450 and hd 6870 along with 8 gb RAm,500 gb HDD and 22" LCD.
How much power supply do I need?? I already have 450 W

AFAIK the only 450W Corsair PSU is the VX450 which is a great PSU so I think you're ok.

A 6870 system only uses 317W under load and that's with a very power hungry and overclocked i7 920.

Are you sure?? Coz I also read somewhere that HD 6870 needs 500 W PSU?
nd what PSU will the HD 7850 req??

7850 consumes less power than the 6870, slh is prbly right about what he said. http://www.hwcompare.com/12078/radeon-hd-6870-vs-radeon-hd-7850/
