    Hi

    where to I see whats the number of retry's for PPPoE ?

    some times there is a problem with the ISP, and i don't want the box giving up so easily, aka needs indefinitely to try to connect and try to be online.Help me.

    Best not to do this.

    The network scanning "indefinitely" will slow down you system immensely.
    Just continue to try to repair the connection every 10 mins or half hour, or get on to the ISP and ask what's up? Maybe better to change your ISP if they go offline a lot

    Unless your system is at fault ;)
