i just turned on my computer and this error shows:

Primary hard disk drive 0 not found...

i have taken the hard drive out and placed it in another machine and it was found. What does that mean for my first computer.

    Thanks for the help,
    manda

It means that the MBR (Master Boot Record) is damaged on the hard drive. If you can find someone that knows computers like a computer repair shop, they may be able to fix this for you without loosing any of your data... It is possible that the hard drive is going bad, even though the drive is "seen" in another system

try to run CHKDSK on the drive if it is slaved. Also you may want to run crap cleaner registry repair on it also.

Goback is a handy tool to have also for this reason.
