Printer problems, "RPC server unavailable"

    Soo i got an New HDD and installed windows xp home service pack 3....
    i need to install my printer but when i connect it it starts installing and then it stops
    and it says RPC server unavailable.

    The printer itself works.
    SOrry if wrong section

    Help please. tnx

    use an Admin login, use run->services.msc and ensure that both
    Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
    Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Locator
    are set AUTOSTART and are actually started
