    Try Belarc Advisor:

    Per the web site:

Operating Systems: Runs on Windows 95/98/Me, NT 4, Windows 2000, XP and Windows Server 2003.

This is what it said about the MODEM and sound for a previous computer of mine:

    TOSHIBA Software Modem
    Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection
    WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface
    Network Card MAC Address: 00:08:0D:BA:C5:C2
    Network IP Address: / 16

    SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio

    Hope this helps.
