Problems booting up PC

Hi

I went into the BIOS of my comp and changed some settings and now my it wont boot up. It gets stuck on the POST and shows me a black screen. I have tried taking out the CMOS battery and replacing it, but it is not working.

B.T.W. The computer was working fine before.

Please Help.

If you have a motherboard that came with a floppy to flash the BIOS, try it. If not, try to reset the BIOS by using the jumper on the motherboard (I know you took out the battery but the CMOS will hold a charge for just a little while.)

yes,clear the cmos by the jumpers (see your mobo book to know how to do it)
