My old mobo(Nforce 680I Lt SLI) got fried somehow, and I took it into fry's to gey repaired. They put in a (Asus P5K-E Wifi edition). I have the latest drivers for it.
Only now, there are periodic slowdowns, (Set harddrive to extreme performance, set power usage to high high performance)
I can't set the sound options in Battlefield 2 to creative X-fi, or the app will freeze up, (Tried reinstalling BF2 and X-fi drivers already) I can't press the simulate Surround Sound button in the console launcher in game mode.(Problems may be related.)
I can't set the BIOS Sata Config to ACHI, and have to use IDE, or windows won't boot.(Partially Solved, Jmicron is set, but drive control panel isn't.)
There are odd coloration spots in the form of rectangles on the monitor, but that ws with my old Mobo too.
