right here goes, today i tried upgrading my processor from a 1.4ghz amd processor to the amd xp3000. everything went sweet until i noticed it was still running at 1.4 ghz. I fiddled with settings in BIOS and now it wont even boot up at all to let me press delete, to re enter BIOS. The settings I changed was under DRAM Settings and i changed it from 333 to 400 if this is any help. If anyone has any ideas please help, Thanks.

How old is the motherboard? If its more than 2 years it wont run at 400mhz. What processor did you originally have. The best you can probably do is 333. You need to reset your CMOS. There should be a jumper next to the silver coin battery. Unplug the computer and press the power button. Then move the jumper to the next position for a few seconds and then back to where it was. The plug in the computer and turn it on. The motherboard should be at default settings.
