Problems with my Flash Drive

i recently bought a flash drive of 120 GB.
such a big space in a small flash disk was fishy so i suspected that it was a fake but in the shop (in china) they connected it to a computer and in fact, it showed 119 GB free.
then i go home, i copy some stuff into it and it seems to work properly but when i remove it from my computer something funny happens to it because the next time i connect it, the flash drive appears as empty (even though, when i look at 'properties', there is less free space than before (because of the stuff i copied). Please Help!!

Besides, when i try to format it, i can't (whenever I do it, it doesn't seem to format anything).

reformat the drive. get rid of the U3 technology. Avoid counterfeits.

Reformat the drive? It probably will not let you do this or anything else to it. My advice? Make it a target! Drill some holes in it. Saw it in half. This is what happens when someone buys counterfeit hardware.
