Problems with windows auto-maxing

If I open a website, or a poker table, or a program like MSWord on my 25.5" monitor, everytime I move it while its smaller, it kinda goes transparent then it automatically opens full screen. Also gets a border around the screen when I move it. Cant think of anything I did to any settings...Im running winXP Pro if it helps. I havent downloaded any new programs or anything, what gives?

Just wanna add that I'm running 2 monitors, not having any problems with the 17", can move a small window around and put it where I want it. It does go transparent though. On the 25.5" It goes transparent and maximizes when I move it.

I think I got it, but dont know how to fix itI was messing around with the alt and number buttons and blocks came up on my screen, had no idea what they were. I'm guessing I set my screen to maximize all windows when I dragged them by messing with that?

If I hold down alt while moving the window everythings fine...if I dont it auto-maxs.
