Processoing clusters

  1. I've been searching for information on creating a processing cluster with XP Pro.

I've found information on doing it with 2000, or Server 2003, but not with XP.

Is it possible to cluster up my 1.3 Duron and XP2400+ while using WinXP Pro?

If not, could you please tell me why, because the best explanation I can find is simply "...because XP is a desktop OS", which doesn't really answer the question.

It's much easier to set up a cluster with Linux. You might want to start with that & once you get the hang of it, move onto Windows.

Here's a link with lots of good info on the matter ( under Linux ) -> Linux Virtual Server Project
