Projector with HDMI/ VGA to Dell 'All-in-one' PC with only USB, parallel, serial

My last thread summarised my new laptop is in for repair.

So returning in meantime to my Dell Vostro 320 'All-in-one' only to find no clear way to connect to my new Acer K11 projector.

The Vostro has a serial (db9 I think) male ; parallel (printer) female; and USB only.
The K11 has HDMI; VGA female; and USB (for watching movies without external device).

Is there good quality economical switch for bridging this?
