Proview lcd monitor model#568 onboard speakers

i would love to know how to get the onboard speakers to work on my proview lcd 15 inch monitor.....unfortunately i dont have any driver cd's it was given to me.....the monitor itself works great! but i cannot figure out how to get the speakers working on the front of the monitor....im running windows xp pro on a hp 510w desktop....i dont know if i need some kind of driver to get this to work?......im really lost........any help would be much and greatly appreciated

You probably won't need any drivers to make it work. There should be a 1/8 inch audio cable that plugs into your monitor from the computer. Usually the port are green, in case you don't know which it is.

there is 2 jacks on the back of the monitor....... they are audio in.....the white jack is (in) the red jack is (out) and the green jack that is connected to the computer the other end does not fit into either one of those jacks

What do the plugs on the back of the monitor look like?

Do the ports on the back of the monitor look something like the red and white connectors in this?
