PSP custom firmware

Ive been rather tempted to put custom firmware on my psp. is it worth it?
if it is can my psp take custom firmware?

it is preowned and has a little barcode sticker at the bottom saying

numbers,numbers PSP 1003
and has data code 6D with 5.51 OFW

I don't feel easy saying if it is worth it to put custom firmware on a PSP.

Since most people put custom firmware just so they can pirate games and play them. I don't see why your PSP can't install the custom firmware though since it is the phat one.




Installing custom firmware if legal but playing the pirated games is illegal. Just google Pandora Battery and Magic Stick since you would need those two to "hack" the psp.


Putting custom firmware on the PSP allows you to increase the speed of the PSP altogether. So I shall say it is worth it.
