psu problems

    ok so ive been running this system for like a month maybe more
    cpu-amd2700
    vid-evga 6800gt
    ram- corsair xms 512
    mobo-a7n8x-e deluxe
    ps-axio 480w

    been running fine for amonth...but I come home today and its off?... so i figured lights went off been having problems with them going off so i turn it back on runs for about 3 or 4 mins and shuts off.. but it wont even boot up now i gotta turn ps off then back on and it will boot for like 15secs and turn off i can let it sit for like 15mins and it will run for about 2 ive taken one stick of ram out tryed same thing unpluged everything.. samething changed vid same thing runs for about 3 mins and turns off.... never even heard of axio come with the box nothing is oc

    most Power supplies that come with a case arent worth spit. ( antec being an exception) if you have acess to another power supply I would suggest you try it and see if that is the problem.

    If you've been having power outages lately, it might be dead. Sudden power outages, surges, spikes, etc... can kill a PSU.
