PSU question

    ok so i just got my computer case today by ups and it comes with its own psu and connected it to see if it would turn on and it doesnt now my question is that do i need the other pc parts for this to turn on like the mobo ?

    What? You need RAM, Hard Drive, Video and Sound Cards, did the motherboard come with anything on board? Do you have a motherboard? What exactly did you purchase?

    your PSU starts by getting a signal from the bios to power up, so yes, you need the Mobo for it to power on.
