PSU with 9800gt SLI

Hi, i want to upgrade my system, i am running a 17inch display at 1280X1024,
i have 2 questions, will I see benefits if i run in this rez? and will my ocz stealthxstream 500w be able to take the strain?

You will have no problems while using the 9800gt SLI
You have a decent power supply. You will need to set it up in Display in the Control Panel.
