Question about multiple hard drives and speed

  1. Hey - I have a computer with 3 hard drives: 1x 40GB WD SATA, 1x 80GB Seagate SATA and 1x 120GB WD IDE. What is the best configuration for that?

I was thinking of going OS on the 40, programs on the 80 and straight up storage (music, vids, projects) on the 120. I don't know how much of a difference SATA vs IDE is speed-wise, but it seems smart to put the programs and the OS on SATA so they load faster...any suggestions? It's really a problem, but I would like to get some feedback. Thanks,

    ~BRAD
