    hi all, im just wondering if a cd-rw drive would be able to read/write to a dvd-rw disc. if so, would it read it at maximum capicity of 4.7 gbs? thanks for the help and i have a goldstar 8400B, 40x/12x/40x if that helps.

    You have to have a DVD player or burner to recognize a DVD.
