Question on getting started with an SSD

    I bought a sdd and I want to install it on my computer, intalling the os in it oviously.
    I am going to do this and I need confirmation that it will work:

    take off the hdd, plug in the sdd and the windows 8 cd intall windows 8 on sdd, then set to boot sdd preference.
    turn off plug in hdd and turn on booting through sdd.
    then format the hdd and finally intall all driver on sdd!

    WOULD THIS WORK? really appreciate if you coment fast THANKS!
