I am interested in purchasing a new video card. There were two I saw set at reasonable prices but I was usure which one to get.
    The cards were
-EVGA Geforce 6600 GT AGP 128
    -Diablotek Geforce 6600 AGP 256

Which one of these cards would preform better? The 6600 GT does not have as much video memory but it seems it would work alot faster. Which one would provide the best preformance and the smoothest graphics?

    EVGA Geforce 6600 GT

    Diablotek Geforce 6600

my opinion is that u should go with the GT but try to find one at 256Mb, still that Gt is much faster then the other one and even with less memory it does a better job.

depends what games you want to play and how fast the rest of your system is.

If you want to max out your VC on AGP I would recommend the 7800 GS.

Between the 6600 and the 6600 GT. The GT will be faster but in newer games you will have to lower the texture quality to keep video memory usage down.

To get an idea of how much video memory some games use read this article.
