Quick question if someone wouldn't mind

I had a friend make a few slight upgrades to my computer last year. I have several games currently on my computer (Civ IV, The Sims 2...) right now. The games load very slow at this point and I want to upgrade to make them run faster. I'm not savvy when it comes to technical stuff and would really appreciate any suggestions you guys might have as to what I might purchase?! Thanks in advance!

My computer:
4CPU, 2.8GHZ 512 MB RAM

ASUS P4S800D-X 478 SiS 655FX ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI RX9250-T128 Radeon 9250

Your Video card is only 128Meg, you should have at least a 512Meg Card
Your Ram 512Meg, could be doubled to 1Gig

That's a quick response ! Not sure on which card you should buy, possibly someone else could help there.

I just checked out your mobo.
If this is the one here you need an AGP vid card.
