Well, at that resolution the 7770 would perform alright at medium/high settings, but don't go expecting any ultra maxed out settings :)

Well actually that's only half the resolution of 1920x1080 and also considering the improvements in AMD cards in BF3 in the latest 12.11 beta drivers I reckon you'd be able to play it on ultra with 0x or 2x MSAA.

    1920x1080 /2 = 960 x 540

    I don't follow :S

No... that would be a quarter of the resolution, 2x2=4 ;)

    1920x1080/(1366x768) = 1.98

    • 1920x1080 = 2073600
    • 1366x868 = 1185688
    • 960x540 = 518400
960x540 would have a resolution of 25% compared to 1920x1080 because you are cutting both the height and width by half.

Approximately 70% width and 70% height will give 50% resolution.

Tbh honest ive seen alot of videos ect which show the 7770 perform on ultra in multiplayer w/o mmsa or x2 with aprox 25-35 fps but that was on avideo with a res of 1920x1080 from the resolution I have shud add aprox 10-20 fps with that

A 7850 1GB is not actually that much more than a 7770, and I'd think you'd be much happier with that.
