hi i have a problem with my radieon 9200 video card. when running a game or something it will play allright for a while and crash. i managed to resolve this issue by changing the driver for the VIA CPU to AGP Controller from VIA CPU to AGP Controller 2.0/3.0 to just VIA CPU to AGP Controller. i know that 3.0 is agp8x. the mobo has agp8x support and so does the card so why would it crash when using the agp8x drivers?

It may be an overheating problem of the Radeon card.
Try it with the case open and AGP8x installed.
If that does not solve the issue, revert back to what you have now. Perhaps someone else will have another solution.

Remove and reseat your memory-chips and all AGP- and PCI-cards.
D/L and run Memtest from www.memtest86.org
Let it run overnight, to find out if you may have memory-problems.
Is the extra power-cable for Pentium-CPU attached to your mobo?
