RAID 1 rebuild

I have an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO board which had 2 drives setup in RAID1, I replaced one of the drives after a failure but can't seem to rebuild the RAID. The raid software shows one drive as RAID LD-1 and the other as a single drive, both drives are 320GB SATA drives from western digital. I can't seem to find a way of rebuilding the RAID.
If I delete the existing RAID and setup a new one will I lose all the data on the original RAID disc?

yes. The raid should resync on the new mirror upon rebooting

I finally got it sorted, I deleted the partitions on the new drive, downloaded and installed AMD raid expert and used that to rebuild the RAID.
