I just purchased some ram from memorypig.com for a Dell Optiplex GX200, and it's not working...

when I put it in the comp then turn it on, the screen stays black and the computer just keeps beeping.. like ten beeps.

then it just sits there and nothing happens... i put the old ram back in, and now it works. would really appreciate some help y'all.

Sometimes just reseating ( reinstalling ) the new ram solves this issue.

I had that happen before and I had to completely power down the system and take the bios battery out of the system and let it sit for a minute. Then plug the ram in and the bios battery and it should work unless the ram is bad or incompatible for some odd reason.
