RAM testing tool?

Hello all. I recently came into ownership of an old non-functional laptop. I would like to test its memory, but have no computer with compatible slots. Is there another way do this? Some sort device that test many kinds of RAM?

MESTEST86+ is pretty much the standard. google it. there's a guide in the guides forum.
