Random BSOD on Windows 7

  1. Hey everyone. I just had a random BSOD on my computer. I have a feeling it has to do with the software that came with my Asus motherboard, as the BSOD came up when I was trying to install it. I have attached the minidump.

    Your suspicion is correct. The driver in question is the Asus asushwio.sys. From research it is suggested that instead of disabling to instead uninstall it.

    I actually never got it installed. I put the disc in, selected to run it when auto run came up, it started to load, then the BSOD came up. Thanks again Route44 ... you helped me with a BSOD about 4 days ago, haha.
