Random non-freezing lockups

Aye, the edit seems a bit iffy, I've edited a post a few posts ago without problems, but now the button is gone again...

I'm still on the install I mentioned before - smooth sailing for six or seven hours now.
If this keeps up, I'm just gonna add a program a day to see where the trouble lies.
Assuming it is, after all, a software issue.

Installed;
sound card driver
video card driver
7-zip (for the drivers)
Chrome
DirectX (the extra download)
usb drivers
lan drivers (intel ones, NOT the ones from ASUS(it's an intel chip))

So far I've been playing Diblo 3 all day. It's not that much of an intensive game, but I played it when the crashes occured, too. All while WMP is playing music.

I haven't even bothered with an antivirus of some sorts since I don't touch the internet on that computer anymore, for testing purposes.

Only done a few reboots here and there that happened when I installed drivers. Trying to say I haven't touched windows update.

I don't like to make assumptions, but right now, with lack of a better option, I'm suspecting SP1.
But it's just a thought.

Edit: apperantly I can edit *this* post only :D

Do the forums do an IP check of some sorts? I switch between computer and laptop.

Three processes;
csrss.exe
winlogon.exe
atieclxx.exe
Don't have a User name next to them in task manager.
I'm not sure what this means, but as I recall correctly, processes like this should be run by the SYSTEM user.
This, together with the SYSTEM logon in event viewer...
Might I be on to something here?

Not-actually-an-edit:
I am silly, since I reinstalled I haven't disabled UAC or any of that stuff yet, so I could not see SYSTEM processes as I didn't have privilidges.

Oh well, learning something everyday.
Had two errors occur today in quick succession, almost right after booting, then the next ~5 minutes later.

But I haven't had the issue for a good 7 hours now.
There really is no pattern to me whatsoever :S

I have a lot of monitoring programs running now though, as soon as it happens I hope to see something... somewhere. Running out of things to check here.

Real edit:
I should also mention that a frient suggested to put the correct ram timings in, but lower the frequency a little, so all banks are now at 9-9-9-24@1600, but crashes still occur.

Memory is back to recommended settings.
No new logs yet.

Although, something possibly has changed.
Today I haven't had any of the aforementioned problem.. although something similar.
Everytime I download a file with Chrome, My pc freezes at 100%.
To be more exact, when it's 8.23Mb / 8.23Mb, (or whatever size the download is) it will freeze for a second, and continue.

I will do some more testing with this with copying a file, and using other browsers.

Slowly I'm beginning to suspect ghosts, and already performed and exorcism.

So, this problem somehow fixed itself...
A few weeks after my last post it just... stopped.
I haven't changed anything, yet it was gone.
Maybe an update of some sorts somewhere?
Either way, it seems to work fine now.

I'm baffled.
