I have a 17" monitor dont know the type, brand is KDSusa i think. the thing was given to me, i have no manual or box or anything for it.

well afaik it does work, but my computer is broke atm so i cant test it. the wierd thing is it glows.. i have it turned off, and completly unpluged and it glows bright enough to light my room at night. anyways it is just kinda wierd that its so bright even with no power to it. it also has a blue-tinted hourglass shape that is covering most of the screen.(verticaly) kinda hard to see at 1st glance, and invisible in the daylight.

Older monitors will do that because of the phosphorous coating inside the tube.
