I'm sure this has been posted MILLIONS of times.
So, I have an old laptop (Dell inspiron 6000), verrry old. I had all my sims 2 games and downloads installed and it worked really good. I recently got a new laptop with Windows 7, installed it all again, but then I found out my new one isnt even compatible.
So then, I got my old laptop out, cleaned everything off it so it wouldnt run slow. When I got enough space, I put my sims 2 disk in and then just after the game loading screen thing started, it gave me an error message about the directx 9.0 driver. Now I looked, and I -do- have it. I seriously dont know what to do. Could it be the graphics card?
