I have some audiobooks in .mp3 format and I would like to join them up into one single .mp3 file. I usually listen to them on an ipod and while itunes allows you to group them by book in their desktop software, they are still jumbled together by filename on the ipod. Can anyone recommend a free, or relatively cheap, but good .mp3 joiner?
A good free tool, probably the best, is MP3DirectCut, which can both cut and join MP3’s without re-encoding, and thus preserves original quality. http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html Instructions on how to use it for joining files: http://www.simplehelp.net/2007/04/25/how-to-join-combine-multiple-mp3-files-in-windows/
