Recording longer vodeos

windows movie maker doesn't seem to let me record for more than about a minute;

is there any way to force it to record a video of half an hour?

its instructions like everything from microsoft are dreadful

actually 20 mins would be fine if that were sendable

I have 22.3 gig of free space on my c drive and a gig of memory- using xp home

if anyone would advise me I would be awful grateful
