Red Alert 1 - screen mashed up

I downloaded RA off the internet today got it installed and running. Works fine except the screen is completely mashed up. I can barely see what I'm doing, any thoughts anyone?!

If your operating system is Vista or Windows 7, try changing the compatibility mode to an earlier operating system.

i got it working now, had to go into the Red Alert Windows 95 Setup and set the buffer video memory to on or something, works like a charm now!

For Reference to others, Right Click on the program -> Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab at the top and tick the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select Win 95 (Or the system that the program ran on on its release)

Hi,
You can download a fix (http://hifi.iki.fi/cnc-ddraw/). It fixes the colours and also allows you to remove the black borders.
