Red LED light stays on

  1. I just put together my first computer from scratch. Everything seems to be working fine. On the front of the pc the red LED stays on and the green one flickers whenever there is some activity going on. I have never seen the red LED on before on my other two pcs. Did I plug something in wrong? Does that mean something is plugged in the wrong spot? I installed the os and every port is working , usb, vga, and the audio and video. I just don't know why that red light is on. Anyone ever seen this?

The red LED should probably go to the Harddisk-connector
The green LED to the Power.
I think you need to swap those.
    RTFM, Read The F*ing Manual.
