Referenced memory error

  1. Hi, for about a week and a half now, I keep getting the following message whenever I surf the internet with Google Chrome:

"The instruction at 0x6c4fb2a1 referenced memory at 0x808080a4. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program."

It does not seem to be specific to any particular websites, nor does it show up every single time that I use Google Chrome. But it does only pop up when I am using Google Chrome. And then when I hit "OK," a lot of times (but not every time), Google Chrome stops working completely. I've tried restarting the computer, and my AVG Anti-Virus program reveals nothing. Any suggestions for how I can fix this?
