Regedit and CMD wont run

    Ok... I think its probably a virus or something but i was wonderingif it can b fixed.:confused:
    Im running WinXP SP2 and whenever i try 2 access Regedit (Registry editor) or CMD (Command promt) it shows this message "Regedit is not a valid Win32 Application" and the same for CMD.

    I know that they r valid Win32 Applications cause if i copy them somewhere else they work fine.
    I know that there is nothing running in the background cause ive checked "Processes" and they are all the correct things, nothing suspicious:suspiciou
    Any help would b apreciated, thanx!

    OK dw i got it i looked it up on google... When u type regedit into RUN... it searches through all extention types... first of all regedit.COM
    a virus placed those files theres so it wouldnt and their hidden. So i deleted them and it worked!
