When ever Windows(XP) loads a box appears saying "registry data not found".

I click on it and it goes away. Everything works fine, it is just annoying. That is the only message that appears. Suppose I should be happy. Any thoughts?

on boot up try F8 key then do last known good condition
check you events viewer under computer management
did you install/uninstall something recently?
there are some good reg editers that may fix bad uninstalls
something on boot is trying to load a reg file that is gone/moved or corrupt.

I have tried the above but it is still there. Maybe some day it will straighten itself out. Thanks........
