Reinstalling Windows XP SP3

  1. skipro_98 Newcomer, in training

    I'm trying to reinstall xp pro on my desktop. It hangs when it gets to "installing drivers" with 35 minutes left. If try to turn it off ans start over it goes back to the same point in the installation. Anyone have any ideas?

    There was a random USB cable plugged in.. I unplugged it and voila!....it installed fine.
