Remove AOL

    i have picked up a computer that had aol on it boooo
    i went through and removed all registry aol items
    also add/remove programs
    ran Mr tech aol cleaner 1.1
    also went through program files and did the same
    also Internet options made new connection auto detect on lan
    did ok
    but now when i click on Internet explorer
    i get an error
    cannot find file...///c:/program%20files/aol%20toolbar/welcome.html'.
    make sure the path or Internet address is correct
    i cant seem to get it to go to home page selected yahoo.com Internet option home page
    anyone know how to fix this
    also i want to say for the record I'm not the one stupid enough to put aol on it
    i got it that way
    that's my story and I'm sticking to it :)
    it tries to use aol to launch ie
    i have to click on home icon to get to yahoo home page

    aol error

    i tried restore but it seems that there are no restore points
    without aol but thanks for the reply
    id really like to get rid off this problem asap

    Restore your system then, then uninstall the product properly.
