Recently fixed my compaq 2511ea laptop by replacing hard drive. However i now have a keyboard issue. when i turn my laptop on i get the constant beeping noise associated with pressing a key too often. This continues on and off when i turn the Pc on. When i try to type something the computer just continually prints ] across the screen meaning i cannot type properly. Sometimes i avoid this by desperate use of the backspace key. Any suggestions ?

Replace the keyboard or first check that the keyboards connector is firmly attached to the motherboard
