Repeating key strokes

Running windows vista on my laptop and when I try to do the same key stroke more then once in a row... it wont repeat the keystroke.

printers and other hardware
keyboard.

there should be a couple of settings to allow you to adjust it.

If you have already tried that or it doesnt work, let me know with another post and the TS community will figure something out.

Is this a new laptop or had it been working fine all along and then suddenly this problem started to happen? Does it happen for all keys on the keyboard? What does Device Manager say about the status of your keyboard?

Its a used computer... device man says its fine... its with all keys... went to check the keyboard properties made sure the repeat rate is up n everything... im a tech at a shop n none of the other guys have ever seen this... sooo tryin 2 get some suggestions from a wider variety of minds... i dont know if its hardware just yet... cuz u hit another key n the key is usable..... like to do this hhhhhh i have to hit a letter in between it n delete it...
