  1. I have an LG Monitor that has blown a capacitor in the ac adapter, I want to order a new one, I can only find replacment models and all the amps are different. after reading alot of forums it seems less amps is bad and more is ok.. so this is my question.. my ac adapter has these ratings....

    INPUT - 100-240V- 50/60 Hz 0.7 A (0.7 A)
    OUTPUT - 12 V --- 2.0 A (2.0 A)

and the one im looking at on ebay is

    INPUT - 100-240V- 50/60 Hz 1.0 A
    OUTPUT - 12 V --- 2.5 A

The seller claims it will work fine.. Is this true... Thank you

I believe it will work fine, yes. But please get another opinion before purchasing.
